A night at an Ogun hotel took a tragic turn as Inspector Haruna Mohammed was found dead in his room, while the woman he checked in with remains missing.
Mysterious Death at Super G Royal Hotel
The incident happened at Super G Royal Hotel, located at 11 Anthony Uzum Estate, Oyeyemi Akute.
- The officer checked in with an unidentified woman at 1:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
- Around 6:00 AM, the woman was seen at the hotel reception, asking for table water.
- By morning, the officer was discovered lifeless, and the woman was nowhere to be found.
Hotel Owner Reports the Case
The hotel owner, Abiodun Olagunju, alerted the police when the woman suddenly disappeared after the tragic discovery.
A female hotel worker, believed to be the manager, stumbled upon the officer’s body and was immediately taken in for questioning at Ajunwon Police Division.
Police Investigation Underway
According to Ogun State Police Command spokesperson, CSP Omolola Odutola:
- There were no visible signs of violence on the officer’s body.
- A police uniform bearing the name Haruna Mohammed and the rank of Inspector was found in his bag.
- Authorities are still confirming if he was a serving officer.
His remains have been deposited at Life Channel Mortuary as investigations continue.
