A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Southern California as a small plane crashed into a furniture factory, resulting in the tragic loss of two lives and injuries to 18 individuals.
The ill-fated single-engine Van’s RV-10 aircraft took off from Fullerton Municipal Airport but met disaster less than two minutes into its journey. The plane plummeted into the factory’s roof, sparking an explosion that sent thick black smoke billowing into the sky.
The factory, situated in Fullerton, Orange County, had approximately 200 workers inside at the time of the crash, according to reports from Sky News.

Authorities are still investigating whether the deceased were inside the plane or within the factory. Among the 18 injured, 10 individuals were hospitalized, while eight received treatment at the scene and were discharged shortly after.
