Ondo Governor Demands Accountability and Hard Work from Appointees

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has warned that his administration will not tolerate corruption, laziness, or disloyalty from political appointees.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of new and reappointed members of the State Executive Council in Akure, the governor emphasized that his government is focused on speed and accuracy in delivering development.

Zero Tolerance for Corruption: Aiyedatiwa stressed the need for integrity and accountability, warning that performance-measuring techniques will be introduced.

Seven-Point Developmental Agenda: Appointees must align with the OUR EASE agenda, which is designed to accelerate the state’s growth.

Call for Teamwork: The governor urged officials to work closely with career officers, permanent secretaries, and accounting officers for effective governance.

  • Comrade Bola Taiwo – Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties
  • Prof. Simidele Odimayo – Special Adviser on Health
  • Engr. Abiola Olawoye – Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing

Speaking on behalf of the appointees, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti assured the governor that they would work diligently to fulfill the administration’s vision and ensure impactful governance.
