Ali Ndume, former Senate leader, has rebutted the idea that Northern Nigeria is a financial burden on the country.
He emphasized that all regions are interconnected and must work together for Nigeria’s collective progress.
Ndume also critiqued the proposed tax reforms, calling for broader consultations to ensure they are effective.
He urged a more transparent approach to tax collection and suggested that the banking sector should make a greater contribution to help tackle Nigeria’s fiscal issues and strengthen its economy.
