AbdulRazaq Commits to Upgrading Education Infrastructure in Kwara

Ilorin, Kwara State – Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed satisfaction with the progress of construction at the multistorey prototype primary school in Adeta, Ilorin.

During an inspection of the project, he emphasized his administration’s commitment to transforming public school infrastructure and improving the quality of education in the state.

The governor highlighted that education and healthcare will be major focus areas in the state’s budget this year, with increased investments aimed at bridging gaps in school infrastructure and enhancing digital literacy.

KwaraLEARN Initiative Driving Change

AbdulRazaq noted that the KwaraLEARN programme, which integrates digital learning devices into classrooms, has significantly improved education standards.

As a result, many parents are now transferring their children from private schools to public schools, leading to a rise in student enrollment.

“This is a prototype of the future of education in Kwara. We are redesigning our schools and learning environments to provide better facilities for students. This is just the beginning,” the governor stated.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to expanding and strengthening the KwaraLEARN programme to ensure better learning outcomes and further reduce the number of out-of-school children in the state.

With these initiatives, Kwara State is setting a new standard in public education, ensuring that students have access to modern learning facilities and quality teaching.
