INEC Presents Certificates of Return to Aiyedatiwa and Adelami
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially handed over Certificates of Return to Ondo State’s Governor-elect, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami.
The presentation ceremony took place at INEC headquarters on Tuesday, with prominent figures such as Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) in attendance.
Prof. Kunle Ajayi, INEC National Commissioner for Ondo State, performed the certificate presentation. During his speech, Aiyedatiwa, joined by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, expressed gratitude to the people of Ondo for their overwhelming support across all 18 Local Government Areas.
“The renewed mandate through your massive votes has given me a greater responsibility to serve you better,” Aiyedatiwa affirmed.
He further thanked President Bola Tinubu for ensuring a fair electoral process and commended INEC for conducting a credible, transparent, and inclusive election.
The event marks another milestone in Ondo State’s democratic journey as the Governor-elect pledges to exceed past achievements in service delivery.
