Four Arrested as Okada Riders Allegedly Kill Man in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested four suspects linked to the death of Suleiman Haruna, a 28-year-old man reportedly attacked by unidentified commercial motorcyclists in Ijebu-Ode’s Sabo area.

The incident occurred on Sunday during a Maulud prayer session, creating panic in the community. Witnesses claim the mob, allegedly of northern origin, attacked Haruna, and his body was taken away before police arrived.

The suspects arrested include Monsuru Bakasheri, Sulaiman, Shaibu Ibrahim, and Aliu Rabiu. While the motive for the attack remains unclear, the police continue their investigation and efforts to recover the missing body.

Police spokesperson Odutola Omolola confirmed that the area is under surveillance to prevent further unrest. She urged residents to remain calm, promising updates as investigations progress.
