Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, a prominent board member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) and chairman of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), is set to deliver a lecture at the 18th Africa Security Watch Awards and Conference. The event, which will be held tomorrow at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Doha, Qatar, is organized by Security Watch Africa Initiatives in collaboration with Stellenbosch University.
The theme of the conference is “Developing a Module for People-Centric Governance Towards Enhancement of Peace and Security,” where Dr. Ogunsan will discuss “Emplacement of People-Oriented Policing for Security and Development in Africa.” His lecture will draw from his extensive experience in security management and his leadership in initiatives that promote community-focused security solutions for peace and development.
The conference will feature leaders from African governments, security agencies, policymakers, and international experts, all coming together to address key security challenges such as terrorism, organized crime, and piracy in Africa.
