Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has made a decisive move by dismissing Ifeanyi Osuoza from his position as the state’s Information Commissioner.
The decision, attributed to alleged poor performance, reflects the governor’s commitment to effective governance.

Reasons Behind the Dismissal
Government sources reveal that the decision was influenced by numerous complaints during Osuoza’s brief tenure.
Dr. Fred Latimo Oghenesivbe, Director General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communication, confirmed the development, stating:
“The former Commissioner for Information, Ifeanyi Osuoza, has been informed of the situation.
The governor will make an official announcement soon, but for now, Aniagwu will manage the ministry.”
Aniagwu’s Background and Experience
Charles Aniagwu brings significant expertise to his new temporary role. He previously served as Chief Press Secretary and Commissioner for Information under former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration.
Before this new assignment, Aniagwu was the Commissioner for Works in charge of rural roads, a role where he demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills.
