A tragic incident struck Achị community in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State on Tuesday, April 14, 2025, as gunmen launched a deadly attack that left three policemen and a civilian dead.
The attack occurred near the Ozudaa market, where the officers had set up a checkpoint. Eyewitnesses say the gunmen ambushed the security personnel, fatally shooting them before setting their patrol vehicle on fire.
