Tinubu Hails Aliko Dangote on 68th Birthday, Calls Him Africa’s Industrial Icon
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Africa’s richest man and President of Dangote Industries Ltd, Aliko Dangote, as he marks his 68th birthday.
In a statement released on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Dangote’s outstanding contributions to Africa’s economic growth, particularly in Nigeria.
President Tinubu highlighted Dangote’s far-reaching impact through ventures in cement production, agriculture, and, notably, the Dangote Refinery project, which has created thousands of job opportunities and bolstered the country’s move toward economic independence.
Beyond business, Tinubu commended Dangote’s philanthropic efforts through the Dangote Foundation, which has touched millions of underprivileged lives across the continent.
“Aliko Dangote’s life embodies hard work, generosity, and faith in Nigeria’s potential. His willingness to invest in people and nation-building reflects profound business ingenuity and love for humanity,” Tinubu said.
The President offered prayers for Dangote’s continued success, good health, and wisdom, while also encouraging Nigerian youth to learn from Dangote’s resilience and visionary spirit.
