The embattled Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has reiterated her commitment to exposing what she claims to be instances of sexual harassment by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday night, Natasha emphasized that she has concrete proof to back her allegations but will reveal them at the right time.
“At the right time and in the appropriate space, I will present the evidence that I have,” she affirmed.
Her statement comes over a month after she initially accused Akpabio of making unwelcome advances towards her, which she claims led to their ongoing political clashes.
She further alleged that her refusal to give in to Akpabio’s demands resulted in deliberate roadblocks against her efforts to push motions regarding the Ajaokuta Steel Company in Kogi State.
INEC’s Decision on Recall Petition
The suspended senator also addressed the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) decision to dismiss a petition seeking her removal from office. She described the ruling as a positive step, albeit long overdue.
