Former Ohanaeze President Backs Soludo for Second Term, Rates His Performance 80%

Chief Obi Udodeme, the immediate past president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Anambra State, has given Governor Chukwuma Soludo high marks for his performance, scoring him 80% and endorsing him for a second term.

Udodeme urged voters to make the right choice in the upcoming November 8 gubernatorial election, cautioning against repeating past mistakes where people compromised their votes for short-term financial gains.

“Soludo Has Performed Exceptionally Well” – Udodeme

Speaking during a meeting of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) executives and stakeholders at Agulu town hall, Fegge Onitsha, Udodeme emphasized that Soludo has made significant progress across various sectors.

“You don’t change a winning team. The governor has done a great job, especially in infrastructure development.

If I were to rate him, I’d give him 80% or even higher because no one is perfect,” he stated.

He highlighted Soludo’s efforts in road construction, economic growth, and governance, noting that the administration has achieved simultaneous development across multiple sectors.

APGA Leader Urges Aspirants to Play by the Rules

As a dedicated APGA member from Fegge Ward 1, Udodeme advised political aspirants to conduct their campaigns peacefully and fairly.

“Having political ambition is not a crime, and everyone has the right to contest. However, I urge all aspirants to follow the rules—no violence, no rigging,” he cautioned.

Massive Support for APGA Membership Drive

Udodeme also commended the efforts of APGA ward executives and political appointees in Onitsha South Local Government for mobilizing support and encouraging new party registrations.

“For the first time, political appointees in all 17 wards have come together, raised funds, and made public announcements to encourage people to join APGA. The turnout has been impressive,” he added.

With growing support for Governor Soludo’s leadership, Udodeme reaffirmed his commitment, declaring:

“This government has done exceptionally well. I would vote for him again and again.”
