In a shocking and unusual accident, a man in Memphis, Tennessee, was shot by his own dog while sleeping next to his partner. The bizarre incident happened early Monday morning, leaving the victim with a minor gunshot wound on his left thigh.
How It Happened
According to police reports, the victim’s one-year-old pit bull, named Oreo, accidentally discharged the firearm after its paw got stuck in the trigger guard.
The gun went off, startling both the man and his girlfriend. Fortunately, the wound was not severe, and he received medical treatment at the hospital.
