Engr. Nadungu Gagare’s Inspiring Journey from Rural Hardship to National Recognition
Engr. Nadungu Gagare, the newly appointed Federal Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Head of Service (HoS), has shared his remarkable journey of perseverance and determination.
From trekking 26 kilometers to attend school in rural Kaduna State to working on farms to sustain his education, his story is a testament to the power of resilience and faith.
At a grand reception held in his honor in Kaduna, Gagare recounted how, as a young boy, he insisted on attending school despite his parents’ lack of formal education.
His persistence eventually led him to excel academically and professionally, earning him the esteemed position of Federal Permanent Secretary for Political and Economic Affairs under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Overcoming Hardship Through Hard Work and Faith
Gagare emphasized the importance of hard work, resilience, and faith in God, stating that his struggles only strengthened his resolve to succeed.
“Without God, nothing can be done. I give Him all the glory and pray for His guidance in this new role,” he said.
He expressed deep gratitude to President Tinubu for the appointment and acknowledged the unwavering support of Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, who praised Gagare’s dedication to service.
Represented by Commissioner for Agriculture, Alhaji Murtala Dabo, the governor described Gagare’s promotion as well deserved and urged him to remain committed to his duties.
A Role Model for the Youth
The newly appointed Permanent Secretary used his story to inspire young Nigerians, urging them to embrace hard work and perseverance rather than seeking shortcuts to success.
“With dedication and faith, anyone can achieve greatness,” he advised.
The event was graced by top dignitaries, including Deputy Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Henry Magaji Danjuma, and several political and community leaders.
Gagare’s journey serves as a beacon of hope, proving that no matter one’s background, success is attainable with the right mindset and effort.
