Zimbabwean Prophet Arrested for Staging Fake Witchcraft Drama

Self-Proclaimed Prophet Arrested for Faking Witchcraft Incident in Zimbabwe
A 19-year-old self-proclaimed prophet, Brighton Muroyi, popularly known as Madzibaba Heavynisher, has been arrested alongside a 45-year-old woman, Revai Kweza, for allegedly staging a fake witchcraft incident in Kwekwe, Zimbabwe.

According to Midlands Provincial Police spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko, the duo was charged with causing a public nuisance after fabricating a supernatural event to boost the prophet’s popularity.

How the Fake Witchcraft Drama Unfolded

On February 17, police discovered Revai Kweza seated inside a locked house near an Apostolic Faith Sect shrine in Kwekwe.

She was dressed in all-black attire, appearing as if she had mysteriously materialized inside the building.

As news of the “trapped witch” spread, crowds gathered to witness the spectacle.

However, during police interrogation, Kweza confessed that the entire act was staged to make Muroyi appear powerful.

Leaked Messages Expose the Hoax

Further investigations revealed WhatsApp messages between the two, detailing their plan—including the payment Kweza was to receive for playing the role of a “witch.”

Both suspects remain in police custody as authorities continue their investigation into the fraudulent act.
