The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms, stating that they are already making a positive impact on Nigeria’s economy.

Ganduje made these remarks on Sunday in Kano during an empowerment program organized by Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, where 1,200 vehicles and motorcycles were distributed to APC leaders.

Tinubu’s Economic Reforms Yielding Results

According to Ganduje, Tinubu’s policies have led to notable improvements in infrastructure, job creation, and economic growth across various sectors.

“Under President Tinubu’s leadership, we have witnessed substantial progress in revitalizing the economy,” he said.

He further highlighted key areas where the economic reforms have made a difference, including:

Drop in food prices

Reduction in petrol costs

Strengthening of the naira

Kano State’s Strategic Importance in Tinubu’s Administration

Ganduje also emphasized that President Tinubu holds Kano State in high regard, which is reflected in the number of high-profile appointments given to individuals from the state. These include:

  • APC National Chairman
  • Deputy Senate President
  • Two Ministers
  • Director-General of the National Productivity Centre
  • Chairman of the Federal Mortgage Bank

He expressed gratitude to the President for these appointments and assured continued support for his administration.

APC’s Commitment to Empowering Nigerians

Speaking on the empowerment initiative, Ganduje commended Senator Barau Jibrin for his contributions to the establishment of the North-West Development Commission.

Jibrin also outlined the APC’s plans to empower party members, including:

📌 Distribution of motorcycles to all APC ward and local government chairmen across the 44 LGAs

📌 Special empowerment programs for youth, women, teachers, and students

📌 ₦5 million loan for three graduates from each local government to start small businesses

Call for Support

Both Ganduje and Jibrin urged Kano residents and Nigerians to rally behind President Tinubu’s administration, stressing that unity and support are essential to sustaining the progress made so far.
