In a swift operation, officers of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in Lagos State have arrested two young men suspected of being members of a notorious cult group.
According to a police statement released on Thursday, February 13, 2025, the suspects—Okey Bright, 21, also known as B in Fine Boy, and Daniel Prince, 22—were caught around 4:00 a.m. on Monday, February 11.
The duo was reportedly returning from a cult initiation ceremony at a hotel in Lekki when officers intercepted them.

Security operatives became suspicious when they noticed Daniel Prince carrying a crossbody bag.
A quick search revealed caps linked to the cult group, leading to the immediate arrest of both suspects.

- Okey Bright: A university student and resident of Ikoyi, who allegedly joined the cult in 2024.
- Daniel Prince (Rugged Promotion): A hair stylist and also a university student.
Police Statement on the Arrest
The Lagos State Police Command emphasized that this arrest is part of ongoing efforts to curb cult-related activities and ensure public safety.
“The suspects have been transferred to the Commissioner of Police’s Special Squad for further investigation.”
