In a remarkable act of generosity, the Al-Habibiyyah Zakat and Endowment Foundation has disbursed N15 million in sewing machines, grinding machines, freezers, and cash to 90 beneficiaries, encompassing both Muslim and Christian communities in Abuja.
This initiative, marking the 4th National Zakat Day, aims to bridge inequality and eradicate poverty.
Imam Fuad Adeyemi, the Chief Missioner of the Al-Habibiyyah Islamic Society, emphasized that zakat is a tool to alleviate poverty and purify wealth.
He noted that proper adherence to zakat obligations could transform lives across Nigeria.
One beneficiary, Priscilla John, expressed her gratitude, stating that the sewing machine she received will help her achieve her dream of becoming a fashion designer.
