Apostle Johnson Suleman, the Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, has attributed Nigeria’s economic difficulties to poor electoral decisions made in 2023.
Speaking at the “Recovery Conference 2025” held in Bauchi State, Suleman criticized the leadership of President Bola Tinubu and urged citizens to learn from their choices.
During a courtesy visit to Governor Bala Mohammed, Suleman praised the governor’s leadership but didn’t hold back on his critique of the federal government.
“What Nigerians Are Going Through Is What They Deserve”
Suleman remarked that the hardships facing the nation stem from electing a leader without a clear manifesto. He referred to Tinubu’s “It’s my turn” mantra as a dangerous sense of entitlement.
“The oil sector has been plundered, and in the next 10 to 15 years, I don’t think Nigerians will recover from the damage,” Suleman lamented, urging Nigerians to reconsider their voting patterns by 2027.
Criticism of Tinubu’s Policies
Governor Bala Mohammed echoed similar sentiments, warning that Tinubu’s unclear policies are leading the country toward economic ruin.
“I’m not against reforms, but they must have a national impact. Nigerians deserve better leadership,” Mohammed stated.
The Need for Reflection
Suleman emphasized the importance of self-reflection among Nigerians, saying, “Perhaps after suffering enough, they will make better decisions in the future.”
