No Need for Panic: IPMAN Assures Nigerians of Adequate Fuel Supply

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has reassured Nigerians that there’s no cause for alarm regarding fuel availability. According to the association, there is sufficient fuel stock to meet the nation’s demand, even during the bustling festive season.

Speaking on the matter, the National President of IPMAN, Mr. Chinedu Okoronkwo, stressed that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has enough reserves to keep stations well-supplied. He noted that the queues seen in some areas are a result of increased seasonal demand and minor distribution hiccups, not a shortage of fuel.

“Nigerians should avoid panic buying,” Mr. Okoronkwo advised. “This only creates unnecessary pressure on the supply chain. Buy only what you need, as there’s more than enough to go around.”

IPMAN has assured the public that it is working closely with stakeholders to streamline distribution and address any logistical challenges. The association called for patience, emphasizing that everything is being done to ensure smooth fuel availability nationwide.

As the holidays approach, Nigerians are encouraged to trust in the process and stick to regular purchasing habits. There’s no need for anxiety—IPMAN remains committed to keeping the nation moving.
