A tragic accident occurred in Jigawa State, claiming the lives of at least 14 individuals. The incident took place along the Tage Bridge in the Kafin Hausa Local Government Area on Monday. Eyewitnesses reported a devastating scene with numerous bodies scattered around the crash site. The vehicle involved, a Golf 3 wagon, was traveling from Hadejia to Makera village when it lost control, flipped over, and plunged into a river. The driver survived the crash and is assisting police in their investigation.
According to the police, eight women, two men, and four young men were confirmed dead at the scene, with the victims’ identities not yet disclosed. The police have appealed to the public for any information that could help in determining the cause of the crash.
