The Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association (PETROAN) has finalized an agreement with Dangote Petroleum Refinery to secure direct fuel supplies for its members’ depots and retail outlets across Nigeria.
This deal, which ensures adequate fuel availability during the upcoming holiday season, was reached following months of negotiations. PETROAN also announced that it had reached similar agreements with other refineries, such as the newly operational Port Harcourt Refinery, which recently began exporting low-sulfur fuel oil to Dubai.
These agreements are set to reduce costs and improve product availability. The Dangote refinery, expected to produce petrol, diesel, and aviation fuel, will supply to over 30,000 outlets nationwide, ensuring steady supply and affordability.
