Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello and two co-defendants have pleaded not guilty to 16 criminal charges filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The charges, which were read before Justice Maryann Anenih, include allegations of fraudulently converting N110 billion for personal use.
Bello, the primary defendant, firmly denied all accusations during the court session.
Meanwhile, the EFCC had previously granted administrative bail to the other defendants, Umar Shoaib Oricha and Abdulsalami Hudu.
As of now, arguments over bail are set to begin.
