A Nigerian doctor, Olawale Ogunlana, shared the story of how a commercial motorcycle rider, who had been in a motor accident, threatened to assault him over the medical fees. Ogunlana revealed this in a post on X on Saturday.

An Okada rider was brought to me, bleeding after a collision with a Keke. I immediately attended to him, stitched his wounds, and administered medication. Then I asked him to pay. The Okada rider began shouting, questioning what exactly I had done to justify the charges, and even threatened to beat me. Nigerians, he wrote.
