BREAKING: Radio Nigeria Lagos Office Hit by Massive Fire

A fire broke out at the Radio Nigeria office located on Ikoyi Road in Lagos on the evening of Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

The blaze caused significant concern, prompting an immediate response from emergency services.

The fire, which started around 5:30 PM, is still under investigation, and the cause has not yet been determined.

According to Margaret Adeseye, the Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, several fire stations, including Dolphin, Ebute Elefun, and Oba Onitolo, were quickly deployed to tackle the flames.

The fire was concentrated in the studio section of the one-story building.

Thanks to the quick efforts of local firefighters and support from the Federal Fire Service, the Nigerian Police, and other emergency responders, the fire was contained to the studio area.

No casualties have been reported, and the situation is being closely monitored.

Efforts are still underway to completely extinguish the fire and assess the full extent of the damage.
